Hoda Kotb Replaces Matt Lauer on "The TODAY Show"

Hoda Kotb has officially been promoted to a co-host of "The TODAY Show"'s main block as of Tuesday morning. Kotb replaced longtime anchor Matt Lauer, who was fired suddenly back in December, and will join current host Savannah Guthrie during the 7-9 am time slot, as well as her 10 am hour with Kathie Lee Gifford.
